Our Story
Exiom was founded by Erik and Amy Paul, both U.S. Air Force veterans turned healthcare industry workers. They are driven by compassion to help others improve their quality of life through proven and exciting, innovative technology.
The inspiration for founding Exiom came when one of their children broke an arm. After going through a painful and time-consuming process to have a heavy plaster cast fitted, they thought that there must be a better way to immobilize the arm of an active child. Researching alternatives solutions, they discovered Xkelet with an award-winning 3D printing and software system that scans and quickly prints a lightweight, waterproof cast.
Since then, Erik and Amy have become Xkelet’s exclusive partner in the United States. Now a more effective orthopedic solution is available to doctors, clinics, hospitals and the patients they serve.

Casts tailored precisely to your limb.
Our casts are produced with new generation, high speed 3D printers, which utilize proprietary bio-compatible materials. So not only is the splint skin-safe, it’s also safe for the environment. We doubt you’ll want to toss it when your arm is healed, but if you do, it will biodegrade, unlike ABS plastics.
Supporting Our Military
Strong, lightweight, better healing, waterproof, comfortable, and much more manageable. These are all things our soldiers need when they experience an arm injury. These 3D printed braces and splints by Xkelet provide all these benefits, so we can get them back in the fight. As veterans, Exiom’s founders support our troops and will work to integrate this technology with military healthcare systems.
